the writing of this book, it is
my intention to spotlight the
good that still abounds in spite
of the evil in the world. To
spotlight the positive actions
of some great Americans, many of
whom actually gave their lives
for the benefit of those of us
who remain behind. Hopefully as
survivors, our memories and
actions will be a living
monument to those who have
sacrificed their lives and those
who will yet sacrifice their
lives in the war on terrorism
and all others in past wars who
gave their lives in the fight
for freedom. My prayer is that
this land will remain a beacon
to the world for opportunity and
the freedoms we all enjoy under
a God-inspired constitution.
