Beyond The Obvious For The Real News
Politics has pervaded every nook and cranny of the great American nation. If politicians and the political parties had their way a majority would make politics the God of the land capturing the hearts, minds and soul of every American. The majority of the public media has long since quit reporting the news in favor of "making" the "political and bias news". This is a dangerous trend for freedom of the press leaving the American public as the captive audience for a heavy daily dose of bias deceit under the guise of factual reporting. Fortunately most Americans are not stupid! We still have freedom of speech and although grossly abused it still belongs to every American. That is exactly what this web site is intended to do. We try to make some sense of news stories with factual commentary. Please communicate your feelings to us as we continue on.
Politics In The Judicial System Mike Nifong the ex-district attorney for Durham county North Carolina has made the news again. He was held in contempt of court for lying to the court. Well surprise-surprise, this lawyer or ex-lawyer was sentenced to one day in jail. This ex-lawyer DA mutilated the reputations of some young people for the sake of personal politics. It will take years for these young people to unravel the damage done to their reputations. It is about time the lawyers started doing some of the hard time. Martha Stewart was sentenced to several months for lying to a lawyer. What is wrong with this picture? Behind The Mask Of Al
Sharpton? Some of the most poisonous personalities in society
today are those who appear to be a moral leader with a political
agenda. Al Sharpton is the example that comes to mind.
These types of people bet on the short memory of the American public
and the selective memory of the public media. Check on this
fellow's history and he is a wolf in sheep's clothing. In fact
he is a black politician with a heavy racial agenda masquerading in
a "Reverend's" costume. The Lord said we are to
forgive everyone and it is only up to the Lord whom He will forgive!
Time to check out forgiveness by this Reverend. The perfect

Gasoline Crunch A Product Of A Do-Nothing Congress In 1975 the USA could see the energy crises handwriting
on the wall. Our dependence upon foreign oil made us totally
vulnerable to the Mid-East sources that controlled the supply.
The Mid-East oil nations suddenly awakened to the fact that oil was
their most potent weapon to use against the west and they came out
firing with both barrels. OPEC has had a strangle hold
on the USA since that date. The only way to relax that
stranglehold was to build new refineries in the USA. Would you
believe with that knowledge laws became prohibitive in building
refineries and not one single refinery has been built since 1975.
So when you badmouth the $3 and higher pump prices be sure to
include the strongest badmouth for years of a do-nothing congress. Mitt
Romney Presidential Run The dumb and stupid things a media reporter can think to
say today seems to come from a bottomless pit. Many
off-the-wall comments are motivated by personal bias or desire for
conflict. A short time ago a television reporter asked
the question; "I wonder if the nation is really ready for a
Mormon president?" Of course one stupid question deserves
a stupid answer. The answer to that question could easily be;
"I wonder if the nation is really ready for the second coming
of Christ?" How
Long Will It Be Before America Becomes The USA of Mexico? The professional politicians in Washington, D.C. don't appear
to realize we are a nation under siege by our neighbors to the
south. As illegal immigrants pour across our borders at the
rate of over one million annually (probably a low estimate) the
politicians argue over building a wall. This makes about as
much sense as trying to put out a forest fire with a garden hose.
As we do a head count of illegal immigrants in the country the best
estimates are somewhere from 12 to 20 million. Politicians start
counting potential votes. Now the U.S. Justice department
admits there are approximately 80,000 of these illegal immigrants in
the nation who have criminal records and we don't even know where
they are. Twenty five percent of all federal prisoners are illegal
immigrant drug peddlers. Thousands of these illegal immigrants
show their strength in marches throughout the nation protesting our
laws. Perhaps the politicians could just wait a few more years
and the problem will solve itself Mexico will own us. Homegrown
Terrorism (Crime) Is America's Greatest Threat The
American public media and the professional politicians have had the
nation focused on offshore terrorism since 911. Even more so
since going into Iraq. In fact Iraq has become the media's
political football. Lets look beyond the obvious here!
Since 911 and including 911 approximately 8000 American lives have
been lost and we have spent approximately $400 billion dollars
fighting the offshore terrorism war. Since 911 through the end
of 2006 homegrown terrorism (crime in America) has claimed the lives
of over 80,000 murdered victims. Many of these murders were
more gruesome than those identified in the offshore terrorism war.
The cost of homegrown terrorism (crime in America) an unbelievable
$675 billion annually according to U.S. Justice Dept. and that goes
into the trillions since 911. The
American Media Infatuation With The Hollywood Celebrities Today the public media feeds the American public a
steady diet of Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan,
Anna Nicole Smith and the list of celebrities goes on and on.
What have these people done that is really socially redeeming?
Other than showing and marketing an immoral side of life for our
young people to copy-it often stops right there. Their skills
appear to be limited to showing how carnal one can become.
Some of these immoral icons even boycott the use of underwear (Britney
Spears) and then film themselves in a near sexual pose or in the
middle of the act (Paris Hilton). This amounts to the media's
sanitized version of pornography. Does the media have a motive
and is this a prelude to ultimately introducing Porn Stars to the
public as acceptable entertainment? How far down can the
public media sink into the abyss of immorality? Scooter
Libby Gets 30-Months In Prison It happens behind closed doors in the Judicial system.
Well lets see now the system went after this defendant on outing CIA agent
Valerie Plame identity and that did not work-no law broken there.
Then the system went after the defendant for leaking information that was
not illegal to begin with and someone else did that. Since the
public media and the Democrats have got the Bush administration under the spotlight
the system has got to find this defendant guilty of something. Oh I've
got it lets get him for lying to the prosecutor. After all this
guy has had thousands of memos come across his desk and he will not
remember everything that has been said. Yeah that's it we will
play the "gotcha" game! Who said there was no
politics in the Judicial system? What a miserable, shameful state of
justice in America. Addendum: Lawyers break thousands of
laws in the judicial system daily. Lawyers redefine the facts
of almost every case. Lawyers outright lie to prove an issue.
Along comes Scooter Libby and gets 30 months for lying to a lying
lawyer. Thank God we had a president with the courage to say
no to the dominant lawyer culture it's not going to happen. For
Lack Of Discipline Lets Call It An Addiction Well here we go again. For lack of discipline by
parents or lack of self-discipline by young people doctors now want
to define video games as an addiction. A leading council of
the nations largest doctors group wants video games classified as a
Psychiatric disorder. When parents can't get their children to
come out of their rooms it has got to be an addiction. How
many bad habits of people of all ages are going to be added to the
addiction list as some kind of medical disorder so millions of
taxpayer dollars can be spent to treat the so-called addiction or
disorder. Remember the bad habit of alcohol that was added to
the addiction list? Millions of dollars have been spent on
that addiction when swift and sure punishment in the judicial system
would have taken care of the problem. The drunk driver has
killed more good Americans than in all our wars combined and
continues to kill at the rate of approximately 70 per day. How
ridiculous are we going to become when it comes to simple bad human
behavior and how to treat it? How long will it be before
excessive use of sex hits the addiction list since the nation is
deluged with sex crimes? Energy Bill Clears Senate-Big Woopie
The do-nothing Senate passed an energy bill for the
nation at the 11th hour. Highlight of the bill called for a
40% increase in average fuel economy of automobiles to 35 miles by
the year 2020 well hallelujah! . At the rate of high tech
development in the nation there may not be any cars by 2020 it will
be car-o-planes or some other type of vehicle that will operate on
the energy of the sun. Now the bill will go to the House for
the other half of the do-nothing congress to wrangle over in a
compromise with the Sena Are
We Dis-infranchised Or Is The Government Broken? The
Federal Government appears to be broken. What happened to
"For The People" and "By The People"?
Every major issue concerning the people becomes a casualty of
professional politics. This government seems incapable to
resolve a major issue such as Iraq war, Immigration bill, Social
Security, The Energy Crises and the list goes on. It is
doubtful that they could solve the problem of a lost puppy without
it becoming a highly charged political issue. Perhaps it is
time to clean house...and the Senate!! A
