Sorrell is a non-fiction author and writer with over 500

(Look
Beyond The Obvious In The Words Of The Savior)
When
the Savior was about to leave the earth before his ascension
his Apostles ask him when they could expect to see him again
(Mathew 24). He answered with some key signals.
He said there would be earthquakes and it would be the same
as in the days of Noah, they were given in marriage and
giving in marriage. When we research the days of Noah
in the Old Testament we find wickedness and violence covered
the earth. Today our great nation leads the other
nations of the world in violent crime. Today we have a
52% divorce rate and the marriage picture is a
merry-go-around with people jumping on and off. Sodom
and Gomorrah has risen from the ashes with men marrying men
and women marrying women. Certainly no one knows the
time of the Savior's return but we can watch for the
signals.

Critics and Fault Finders)
Constructive
criticism yes, professional critics and fault finders
no! America is a nation of a lot of good people in all
walks of life-striving to do the right thing. Many
professional critics and fault finders in our nation today
spew out their political venom under the guise of freedom of
speech strictly for personal gain-even if it's only 15
minutes of exposure. The airways and the Internet is
swarming with them. We could get along nicely without
this form of predator just waiting for their next victim for
character assassination for a few pieces of silver!

At The Root Of Most Social Problems)
We
are at the point in society where ulterior motives, deceit
and dishonesty are rampant. When we see or hear a news
story, we come away shaking our head saying; "God only
knows." Larry Craig the U.S. Senator from Idaho
charged with sex solicitation, O.J. Simpson and others come
to mind. Even when need for resolve and truth reaches
the courts we are often mired in dishonesty by lawyers,
judges and politics in the justice system. God does
know, He has always known and that is the reason he gave us
the Ten Commandments including "Thou Shalt Not
Lie."

The USA now has an alternative to Canada for
marriage of same sex couples. Massachusetts recently
instructed its county clerks to issue marriage licenses to
gay couples from the two states without laws prohibiting
same sex marriages-New Mexico and Rhode Island.

The most feared homegrown terrorist in America for
several decades has been and still is the DWI! The DWI
has killed more good Americans than in all our wars combined
and continues to kill approximately 71 people each day-not
to mention the countless seriously injured. A recent
study by the CDC of 5600 high school students in New
Mexico revealed 42% had at least one hard liquor drink
within the past 30 days.

One has to
wonder which came first. Was it the media infatuation
with the little immoral icons like Lindsay Lohan, Nicole
Richie, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and other little
immoral icons of the past or do people in the nation really
crave the news about the immoral acts of these people.
Either way it is the fodder for a secular world.

long term danger in America is the Culture war that is being
waged for the heart, mind and soul of every good
American. There are many battlefronts. We see it
in our government, politics, communities, states, courts,
churches, schools and every area of our society. The
two foes are easily identified. The

progressive that would create a utopia of peace without
God. The more passive foe is the traditional

have been bombarded with 2006 political campaign messages that undoubtedly
are the most ugly in the history of the nation. One would be led to
believe that we have lawbreakers, fraudulent personalities, liars, cheats
and criminals all running for high political office. The culture war is at
the forefront of this ugly scene and if we are not cautious the rhetoric
will turn to physical violence. We are already the most violent
nation on the earth. Perhaps we are facing a future of vigilante
justice and anarchy. Is politics really worth it?

(HOMEGROWN TERRORIST WIPES OUT FAMILY OF FIVE)
One
of America's most feared homegrown terrorists crashed his vehicle head-on
at 75 mph going the wrong way on the freeway between Albuquerque and Santa
Fe New Mexico. The DWI tested four times the legal limit for alcohol
at 0.32 percent. The dead included the all-American family of Paul
Gonzales, his wife and three daughters of Las Vegas, N.M.. The DWI
terrorist Dana Papst died later at a local hospital. Records show
Papst had 5 prior DWI arrests in Colorado.
A
Utopia Of Peace Without God
As
we move ever closer to destruction of the human race we move further away
from the God who created every living thing. This destruction all began with a
