St. Johns, Mich.;  Kathleen Holey pleaded guilty to assisted suicide in a plot to help her son and daughter in law commit suicide with drugs.  Holey furnished the drugs and drove the pair to an abandoned farmhouse for to carry out the suicide mission.  Holey's son Patrick Holey died in the suicide pact but his wife Jennifer survived.  The pair were attempting to avoid prosecution in the rape of a 14 year-old girl.   Jennifer was sentenced to four to fifteen years on the rape charge.  Posted 10/15/02.  Commentary;  A terrible mis-direction of priorities.
