Milwaukee, Wisconsin;  Man is beaten to death by a mob of kids.  Charlie Young Jr., 36 paid with his life after he made the mistake of chasing a 10 year-old boy who hit him with an egg and punching a 14 year-old boy who intervened.   A mob of boys gathered, lying in wait for Young.  The kid mob attacked Young with broomsticks, metal poles, shovel handle and other objects and bludgeoned him to death.  The kids ranged from age 10 to 18.  Authorities announced that 13 children and two adults were in custody and will be charged with the death.  Posted 10/3/02.  Commentary; Where were the parents?

Kenosha, Wisconsin;  Posted 1/18/03.  Gabriel Estrada, 18 of Twin Lakes in in jail on a $500,000 bond after being charged of discarding his newborn in a portable toilet.  Estrada said he had no choice because he did not want the baby.  The baby boy is in stable condition after being heard whimpering by a passerby who stopped to investigate.  Commentary;  The joy of doing manly things and the childly denial of the consequences, a potent destruction in society.
