MILLION CRIMES A
GRAVE WARNING ABOUT JUSTICE IN AMERICA AND LEGAL REFORM Sammy Sorrell, Albuquerque, New Mexico non-fiction author, previous radio talk show host, law firm consultant (he is not a lawyer) and national director of United Citizens For Legal Reform now brings the facts about justice in America. He calls it; "The Legal Monopoly" that tells the scandalous story about the evolution of the dominant lawyer culture in America under the guise of a "Justice system". Sorrell says that no monopoly in America has had greater negative effect on more Americans than the evolution of this "justice system." Sorrell says it is not possible to get the true perception and picture of this monopoly without getting right to the heart of the problem as it exists today; Over 60% of the federal congress are lawyers, 57% of the time a lawyer has occupied the White House with 2 finalist lawyers vying for the office in 2008. In the third branch of government-the judicial system there are nine lawyers with robes on. So what does this monopoly offer the American public? We have lawyers making the laws, lawyers prosecuting us in the laws, lawyers defending us in the laws, lawyers judging us in the laws, lawyers interpreting the laws and lawyers administering the laws. What a constitutional nightmare!

The rest of the world has one lawyer for every 24,000
people. Tort
litigation is costing every American a bundle by sheer numbers as
the lawyers gravitate to the deep pockets and misery spots in
society to cut up the pie. The
undeniable facts are that indirect victims of personal injury
abuse litigation are our citizens that will be denied new
generations of trained, skilled specialists. Thousands avoid fields of need because of the
trigger-happy malpractice and personal liability lawyers.
The direct victims are doctors in practice who are bailing
out of the gynecology and childbirth related fields like rats off
a sinking ship. If
the high cost of malpractice insurance doesn't get them (with cost
driven up by lawsuits), then a malpractice lawsuit will wipe out
their practice and often force them out of business if not into
bankruptcy. Some of
the direct victims are the dozens of industrialists who have been
driven into bankruptcy over the past three decades, many of whom
merely identified their entity as manufacturing asbestos related
products that opened up a flood of lawsuits.
The direct and indirect victims are the Insurance carriers
and insurance consumers who pay upwards to $27 billion per year on
bogus personal liability claims (See 1991 study by Bush-I Council
for Legal Reform). This big tab is simply passed on to insurance
consumers who become the victims.
Consumers know that the billions of dollars in cost of
abusive and excessive litigation is factored into the cost of
products and services. Tort
reform is a joke and always will be when lawyers control all three
branches of government.
We have had a look at what is going on in the civil justice system now lets go through the other door and take a look at the criminal justice system. Here we find what has become the revolving door for criminals under the guise of criminal justice in America. While offshore terrorism is a serious threat the offshore terrorism does not begin to compare to the threat of home grown terrorism in America (crime in America) in statistics, barbarism, horror, death count, injury to Americans or cost of the war. In his latest book release, Sorrell explores the subject of the revolving door criminal justice system and points to over 570,000 criminals being released annually from prison and thousands more never serving any prison time at all. Americans find it hard to believe that over 159,000,000 million crimes have been committed in this nation in the 13-year period ending in 2002 (U.S. Justice Dept. Stats.)
Wars as we have known them are generally nations against nations. They are military conflicts where there is one or more adversaries or aggressors with a goal of conquering a people, taking over their land or totally destroying them. In a military conflict there is generally an act of aggression followed by a declaration of war against the aggressor. We saw that act of aggression on 9/11/2001 when the war on offshore terrorism began. Our president declared war on terrorism and the military conflict began and we are still fighting that war. The tragedy of any war is the loss of life, the injured and the families who have to live with the memory of that tragedy. Crime in America is a war! It has all the components of a war. It is a war by home grown terrorists. In fact it is the most dangerous war that Americans have ever faced. We have millions of aggressors and acts of aggression toward innocent Americans. We have heinous murders daily some as barbaric and gruesome as you will find in any war. We have personal assaults upon Americans daily. These aggressive predators rape our women by the hundreds of thousands and many are buried in shallow graves. They abuse and kill our children by the thousands. They rob and plunder our homes, our businesses and our land now in terms of minutes and seconds. One group of these homegrown terrorists have killed and injured more Americans than in all of our twelve military wars combined. The DWI or DUI is the most dreaded and dangerous homegrown terrorist in America. They have killed more Americans than in all our 12-wars combined. These terrorists flow through the criminal justice system by the thousands and we cringe when we read about some of them out on the street after more than two dozen prior arrests. We are angered when we read that as many as 25% of DWI cases were dismissed because the judicial system did not get their act together in time for a trial. There has been no declaration of war against this enemy...our total aim is to spend billions of dollars taking prisoners, often turning them loose, often giving them probation, often plea bargaining with them, often putting them in prison and then turning them loose after a little time served to go back into society and start their savagery all over again. Today there are over 5 million of these home grown terrorists back out on the streets, many are predators just waiting to pounce upon their next victim. If we conducted our offshore wars like this millions of our young people would be shipped home in body bags and we would be calling for the heads of the generals. That is what legal justice reform is all about we are calling for the heads of the generals (lawyers on and off the bench). By definition and action-a terrorist is a terrorist regardless of where you find them. The word terrorism is derived from the word terror which means an object or person inspiring fear or dread. Terrorism means to use terror to control or intimidate. Crime is a heinous form of terrorism.
Home Grown Terrorists differ very little in their acts of aggression from their counterparts the Offshore Terrorists. In offshore terrorism we see a car coming down the road with a bomb as the cargo. When it hits you are generally dead. In home grown terrorism we see a car coming down the road with a drunk driver as the cargo. When it hits you are generally dead. There are far more deaths from drunk drivers (17,000 in America in 2004) than deaths from car bombs in offshore terrorism. Offshore terrorists kidnap and kill their victims and generally they restrict their kidnap victims to adults. Home grown terrorists kidnap little children-sexually molest them and kill them. Offshore terrorists generally have a political aim for conquest. Most home grown terrorists are motivated by their own personal passions . They are users and abusers of people, often turning on a spouse, turning on a child in the family, raping women to fulfill their own sexual desires, violently assaulting to satisfy their own passions, robbing and plundering to get what they want, turning to drugs and alcohol to stimulate their personal passions. A recent news account described a driver coming upon a man on a country road stomping and kicking a baby 1-2 years old. The driver was unable to stop the man. A sheriff deputy arrived on the scene and ordered the violence to stop. The man refused and he was shot and killed. It was to late to save the baby. No motive was given in the news account. Perhaps the man was getting even with the baby's mother for some perceived wrong he had experienced. Another recent news account reported a worker in Kentucky shot and killed his supervisor and four co-workers in the plant where he worked. The account related the killer became angry when his supervisor cautioned him to wear goggles and not to use his cell phone while working on the assembly line. The killer then called his girlfriend and told her he was going to kill his boss. This evolved into another argument with a co-worker. The supervisor escorted the man out of the plant where he went to his car and produced a 45 pistol. He then shot and killed his supervisor and then went to the employee break room where he shot and killed four more co-workers. The killer then shot and killed himself. It is time to call evil-evil. It is time to call addictions bad personal choices. We have hordes of terrorist monsters in our society and we need to deal with them as monsters-get them out of society permanently either through execution or in prison and throw away the key. The touchy, feely culture employed for the past few decades has miserably failed the American people and put a nation at great risk and peril. Lawyers and sociologists attempt to dismiss the terrorist acts of some of these monsters by blaming a bad childhood. Hogwash! Millions upon millions of us had a tough childhood but we did not turn to crime and terrorize our fellow beings.
Sammy Sorrell describes the greatest threat to Americans not as the media -focused "Offshore Terrorism" but instead as "Home Grown Terrorism", the undeclared war on crime in America. The "Offshore Terrorism" war has cost the USA in excess of one Trillion dollars since 9/11/01 through 12/31/06. According to U.S. Justice Department projections, the cost of "Home Grown Terrorism", crime in America has cost American taxpayers over $3.5 trillion dollars since 9/11/01 through 12/31/06. (cost now standing at $675 billion annually). The nation has lost approximately 8,000 lives with hundreds more injured including the 9/11/01 tragedy and subsequent war against offshore terrorism. According to USJD statistics, since 9/11/01 through 2006, violent crime in America has totaled over 2 million crimes with approximately 80,000 murders. Many of these murders have been as grizzly and gruesome as those committed by the offshore terrorists including beheading, butchering victims like livestock, burning victims to ashes and rape victims buried in shallow graves or discarded like trash.
A life-long respected 74 year-old banker who retired took up real estate so his remaining years would be active and fun. He received a call at his office from a prospective buyer who said he was an attorney from Arizona looking to buy some homes. Responding to the caller, the realtor left his office to show a fashionable home in the northeast heights of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He became long overdue from the appointment and the Sheriff’s department went to the property to discover the realtor murdered-a gunshot to the head. An act of home grown terrorism. An arrest was made and the suspect charged. The suspect has a criminal record. James Francis, 42, who resided in Edgewood, New Mexico, an east mountain bedroom community of Albuquerque, New Mexico was traveling toward his home on Interstate highway I-40 in early August, 2004. In a classic act of road rage, another automobile driver apparently in a perception that Francis had done something wrong, forced the Francis vehicle into an oncoming semi-truck. The collision Killed Frances instantly. An act of home grown terrorism. An arrest was made and the suspect charged. The suspect has a criminal record! In Volusia county north of Orlando, Florida the bodies of six murder victims were found in a blood-spattered home on August 6, 2004. It was reported that some of the victims were beyond identification because of the beating about the head. All victims had been stabbed and beaten with baseball bats. Volusia county sheriff’s department quickly made arrests and solved the crime of terror. Authorities determined the ringleader of the four criminals (terrorists) was Troy Victorino, 27 of Deltona, Florida. Three 18 year-olds were also arrested with an admission of accomplice to the crime. An act of home-grown terrorism. Ringleader Victorino has a criminal record and has spent eight of the last eleven years out on probation. With over 570,000 prison inmates released annually and soon to number over 700,000 annually "the suspect has a criminal record" has become more like a broken record playing over and over for American victims and their families. It is almost as if our society has been transformed into a culture of carnivorous predators, most of them with a past criminal record-just waiting for the right moment to spring upon their next victim. Is this war? Is this terrorism? After the 9/11 attack, President George W. Bush asked Americans not to alter their normal lifestyle. For decades terrorism by home grown terrorists has drastically and permanently altered the lifestyle of millions of innocent law-abiding Americans
Since 1964, total crime in America has increased over 350%. Millions of criminals have been released from prison, many have been given probation for their crimes. Many of these criminals are in fact home grown terrorists and predators roaming the streets of our nation. Over 80,000 of these criminals roaming the streets are known illegal immigrants and law enforcement has lost track of them. Our nation had a shameful twenty four million reported crimes in the year 1999 alone (World Data Bank). That number would have exceeded twenty five million if statistics had included over one million unborn babies murdered through abortion. There have been periodic reductions in some crime categories but sadly any reduction in one crime category is generally offset by another crime category increase or else thousands or millions of unreported crimes.
We can make dozens of excuses by putting a psychological, sociological, biological and economic spin on crime in America. We could argue these issues until the Millennium and when all of the social dust settles the 350% increase in crime during the past four decades is still there and tied directly to (1) The abandonment of individual and collective moral responsibility resulting in the national slide toward immorality in America and (2) a lawyer-dominated judicial system with a revolving door criminal justice system. Good character and good behavior does not create an avalanche of evil acts and crime. Evil acts and crime feed off bad character and bad behavior. Immorality is no more or less than the embryo stage of evil and crime.
America, the greatest nation on earth is engaged in a scandalous undeclared war against crime that we define as homegrown terrorism. Some may call it domestic terrorism. This war can best be described with the words immorality, evil and crime interchangeably. If America is to be destroyed, that destruction will in all likelihood come from evil and immoral acts by its own citizens and non-citizen illegal immigrants within rather than the declared military war on terror from outside our borders. Experience and history has taught us the possibility of such a destruction is not so far fetched. World history records nations closely paralleling the greatness of the United States that have literally destroyed themselves by traveling the slippery slope of immorality-the great Roman Empire for starters is an example. There is a cultural war going on that is closely intertwined and related to crime and immorality in America. There have been a number of counter-culture forces operational within America over the past few decades determined to destroy freedom of life and integrity of the nation as we have known it.
This undeclared war on crime is conducted by the criminal justice system in America. This is a different war where we are required to focus upon the legal and political strategy-not the military strategy that we focus upon in the offshore war on terror. To get a complete national focus upon this needed strategy is a huge hurdle. Any society is a reflection of its laws and how those laws are administered. A system of law (civil and criminal) encompass many phases in human relationships. Those laws and the administration of those laws is the central focus of crime in America. We have seen the negative fruits of evil on a global level-now expressing itself through offshore terrorism. The public media in our own nation is the social spotlight. American focus through the politically biased media in recent times has been largely upon "terrorism" at the global level and the potential of that evil in touching American lives. We know the exact number of casualties and fatalities daily in that offshore war on terror. Ironically, home grown terrorism in our nation has victimized millions of Americans each year and continues to victimize Americans now in times of minutes and seconds daily. There is no media focus or report on these total numbers. This terror type evil is just as heinous, brutal, barbaric, inhumane, cruel and vicious as we have seen or heard of in the offshore war on terror. We have documented cases of these hideous acts of terror in our own nation that include be-heading, dismemberment, body parts cooked and eaten, cremation murders, sex with corpses and other criminal acts that stagger the imagination. These acts of terror have forever and totally altered the lifestyle of Americans. Without diminishing the danger of global terrorism, statistically that danger at this writing actually pales in comparison to the home grown terror in America. No all out war has ever been declared on this crime war of homegrown terror. It is the largest and most devastating of all our national conflicts. The only benefactor here is a huge lawyer business opportunity that this crime cycle creates. Some criminals are not re-apprehended until their crimes reach the serial numbers and some are still on the loose committing their crimes. The ranks of juvenile criminals are swelling and gangs are evolving to further terrorize Americans. The non-existent strategy for this undeclared war by the legal justice system shocks the collective national imagination. If you accept the premise that a free society is a reflection of its laws and how those laws are administered then America is in deep, serious trouble. Perhaps in no other area have our freedoms and constitutional liberties been more jeopardized and threatened than in the area of laws and the administration of those laws by the American judicial system. We have some serious fundamental problems in American justice and our dominant lawyer law-making bodies. We have permitted this nation to become a giant law factory with the legal conveyor belt still running 24/7. From the city to the federal government no agency will even hazard a guess of the number of laws and rules on the books. Many formal and informal laws and rules ultimately favor lawbreaking and immorality. In fact it is a legal jungle. There are many laws and rules that in reality punish the victims and law keepers and place good Americans at high risk. We have permitted equity and criminal justice to be subordinated to a dominant lawyer culture in a business making business for itself both politically and financially. That same culture has actually evolved into a largely self-regulated political body making its own laws and rules. Judicial discretion in criminal justice, lawyer protection rules and other judicial rulings has turned the criminal justice system into a scandalous nightmare. Quite often the only (legal) law-making bodies of the nation (legislative) is subordinated to the lawyer system of case law and judicial discretion. Recently the chief judge of the largest state court in the state of New Mexico after 22 years on the bench was caught in a law enforcement DWI check point sting with an unidentified woman and with cocaine possession and over the limit DWI. Fellow judges quickly disclaimed this as a non-moral issue that did not affect judicial performance. We are so far down the road of immorality, we seem to have a built-in automatic disclaimer when caught in an immoral act. Immorality is pervasive throughout our society-it has not passed by our political and judicial leaders. This immoral and political fiasco is just one example of the fundamental causes of the most dangerous war this nation has ever faced-the undeclared war on crime. Our legal and political leaders are not held to a higher standard of morality and often one is caught in the depths of immorality or crime. Then the political wheels of justice are slowed down to lessen the offense. Is this a good example why DWI's are the most feared and dreaded home grown terrorist in America? Is this why DWI's are still out on the street driving after more than two dozen arrests? Is this why DWI's have killed and maimed more Americans than in all our 12-wars combined?
We are at the point in history where the struggle between good and evil has become an intense battle. Our government agencies while rightly refusing to legislate morality is actually on record legislating immorality-there are many examples where liberal judges have become the sole (unlawful) legislators. Our system of justice must recognize and be willing to call most criminal activity the acts of immoral and evil people and deal with them accordingly-just as the military deals with offshore terrorism. As these criminals pass through the revolving door justice system, hordes of lawyers make billions of dollars attempting to sell juries and the American people on the deception that these criminal acts are in fact evil acts by sick people instead of sick acts by evil people.
Many in society have lost the focus on our existence. We are refusing to confront our mortality with the three most vital questions about our existence. Where did we come from, What are we doing here and Where are we going? There is a supreme being, we do have a Creator, He has given us direction, He is still giving us direction, He has given us the answers, He is still giving us the answers... but we are refusing to accept the answers and refusing to take direction. That is like buying a new Cadillac, taking the manufacturers operating manual and tossing it out the window and driving the Cadillac like it was an 18-wheeler on city streets-this is a disaster going someplace to happen. We have a society that has become almost totally focused on mortality and it is out of control with extreme behavior. The spiritual roots in our relationships are missing and the results are obvious. Many have no regard for the sanctity or sacredness of life where murder, assault and rape is commonplace. Many have no regard for the marriage covenant and the Family where the divorce rate is 53% and many have no regard for the marriage covenant at all but just live together-jumping from one bed to another and leaving children behind from nothing more than an adulterous relationship. The greatest roadmap for mortality ever given was given by our Creator when He gave us the 10 commandments. Many in society have totally abandoned that roadmap and chosen instead their own faulty moral compass in life. We have a culture who would create a utopia of peace without God. The national and entertainment media has assumed the self-appointed role of leading the masses to the utopia of instant pleasure, instant gratification and self-indulgence without a character base. The ultimate frustration with that formula is crime and it is devouring us. When a baby gets in the way of instant gratification-just kill the baby. When a spouse gets in the way of instant pleasure-just divorce the spouse. When someone gets in the way of a drug habit or alcohol habit-just waste them away. When someone gets in the way of uncontrolled selfish anger-just brutally murder them. When our teenagers don’t feel they are getting a fair shake-disregard the laws and take care of it yourself like at Columbine. When there are no faith-based family values and a life of disappointment and discouragement is the norm-just give it all up-kill all members of the family and then take your own life. When dishonest and greedy professional politicians get caught-they just hide it or redefine the facts. Take it into a court of law and let the lawyers lie for you and change the facts. We are seeing all this and more in the undeclared war on crime in America. We are becoming a society that has reversed the golden rule. It is no longer do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It is "Do others before they do you." Where does it all begin and end...in the family....that is the laboratory of society-whatever comes out of that laboratory we will get in society
Watch-look and listen and you will notice political candidates stay completely away from the subject of crime. Many of these candidates are lawyers. In a conspiracy with the public media they ride the tide of more "pressing" social issues. How many presidential candidates in 2008 have you heard dwell on the subject of crime in America. The answer is none! Americans are becoming awakened to the fact that we are bogged down in a war with the greatest number of casualties and fatalities that any war has ever inflicted upon its people. Somehow during the past several decades, the majority of Americans have been lulled to sleep by the social experimental programs, in large part designed to protect the enemies of our free society-actually permitting the spread of immorality and crime. These government social programs and laws totally fail to recognize this war as the most perilous and deadly war of all time upon innocent, law-abiding American citizens. Professional politicians will not make crime a central social issue and why not? Simply because lawyers are in the majority of the Federal Congress and any serious legal justice reform would threaten their income and revenue. Time to wake up America before we find ourselves in the bonds of legal tyranny! We are losing the war on crime because it is an undeclared war with no master plan or strong resolve to win the war. In fact crime has become a big business both for criminals and for the criminal justice system. While this enemy continues to inflict heavy casualties and fatalities upon American citizens in record number, the main focus by our liberal political leaders and judges is not upon the victims but upon taking prisoners and affording those prisoners the greatest possible legal representation at taxpayer expense. Look at the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling giving Habeas Corpus rights under the U.S. Constitution to our confessed enemies that killed our citizens on 9/11/01. Lawyer/client privilege rules protect many of these criminal monsters as heinous crimes are hidden behind lawyer rules while families suffer through months and years without a resolution of their missing/murdered loved ones. All this convenience and protection for criminals come at the expense of good American citizens. What is wrong with this picture? The crime battle in America now rages in terms of seconds and minutes within our own national boundaries. It rages in our states, cities, towns, communities and yes even in our own streets, our schools and homes. With crimes to property occurring every two seconds, and a violent crime every 19 seconds, crime is a war with casualties now being counted in seconds and minutes. (FBI annual national compilation crime report 2001) Perhaps this lack of resolve to declare war on crime is symptomatic of another serious problem. Could it be that the declaration of war against crime would call for serious political and legal justice reform-greatly altering the way our nations lawyers (on and off the bench) are doing business? Could it be because our lawmaking bodies and judicial government are dominated by lawyers (60% in the federal congress and 100% in the judicial branch) and lawyers derive a large share of their revenue from the criminal culture? Could it be our government does not want to contend with the economic impact?

MUST DEMAND A CHANGE IN OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM AND QUICK |
The Trial lawyers association was the largest single contributor during the presidential election of lawyer Bill Clinton. We saw little if any legal or justice reform during that 8-year administration. In fact we saw many activities that cried out for legal justice reform. Undoubtedly this same source was the largest single contributor during lawyers’ John Kerry and John Edwards presidential election campaign in 2004. Let us be brutally frank! The direct and indirect cost of crime annually in the USA is over $675 billion American dollars (USJD). This does not include the additional billions of cost for immorality not yet translated into crime. Consider the payroll feeding from this trough all the way from the bottom feeders to the top feeders in the food chain. If the criminal culture in our society was to be largely eliminated, we would see a substantial rise in unemployment in what is now considered to be vital areas in our society. Judges, lawyers, law firms, courts and court personnel, law enforcement, correctional and prison executives and employees, probation and parole personnel, the media, court tv programs, collateral professions and the list goes on. If we have a dominant lawyer government culture in place that can prevent such a collapse-you figure the math! Have we got a conscious or sub-conscious conspiracy (that is money and politically driven) on our hands that is designed to actually support the criminal culture? God forbid what a thought!
With the millions of casualties and fatalities in the undeclared war on crime (terror) in America, when will we declare war on crime and start calling for the heads of the generals conducting the legal war on crime? During the presidential campaign of 2004 and 2008 the mention of home-grown terrorism was totally absent from the political rhetoric. With the billions of dollars we have spent for social crime bills, we could buy a remote island, send all of our criminals there and use only sharks for guards!

The "KATRINA" tragedy should be a wake-up call for all Americans. We all witnessed what happened when government lost control in New Orleans. The home grown terrorists took over and ANARCHY PREVAILED! Citizens in that city walked the streets with clubs and weapons for protection. Even with 40,000 troops in the area, many home grown terrorists were still a danger. A coordinated effort by offshore terrorist groups with home grown terrorists to disrupt our communication, transportation, utility system, water supply and medical facilities simuteonesly could throw this nation into immediate anarchy.
Sammy Sorrell in his book "Homegrown Terrorism" calls for a quick, thorough study and review of the crime war in America (home-grown terrorism) and immorality as the feeder. This review and study panel must be a blue ribbon panel much like the 9/11 commission and must consist of a non-lawyer and non-politician majority. The study and review must include a thorough study and review of the hodgepodge of criminal laws that govern this nation, the loopholes, the politics in the system, the injustices, the sentencing guidelines, prison and parole practices, the penal system, high tech crime, lack of uniform justice throughout the judicial system, juvenile justice and the growth of criminal gangs spreading out over the countryside and every other factor touching the criminal justice system. Every society is a mirrored reflection of it's laws and the judicial system that administers those laws! If that system is political, corrupt, self-serving, anti-constitutional then equity and justice for citizens becomes about as sure as a game of Russian roulette. Under the U.S. Constitution and Bill Of Rights, A legal system and it's laws should be a safety net for the innocent, a protection for law-abiding citizens, a shelter for the abused and yes a place of retribution in favor of those who have been victimized. When a legal system becomes the abuser, disregarding constitutional rights and further victimizing those victims who are seeking a safe harbor, the reflection of laws in that society begins to turn ugly. That ugliness ripples through society and the fallout will have far reaching consequences.
If you accept the premise that a society is a mirrored reflection of it's laws and the administration of those laws, America is a nation in deep, deep trouble! The crisis reaches into every vital area of society including but not limited to constitutional, political, economic, financial, governmental, justice, social, moral and spiritual.
There are many men and women who have chosen to be a lawyer and devoted their professional lives to equity and justice. These people are not the target of this site. There is a greater number of the lawyer fraternity however, who have different motives and have not been so noble. In fact, as a general culture and class, lawyers are destroying America, turning this nation and American justice into a financial and political self-serving game, grinding out victims by the millions.
Client benefit, true equity and justice has been and is being subordinated to the financial and political business opportunity concept by lawyers in America today. Equity and justice is for sale to the highest bidder. Because of lawyer monopoly of the legal services profession, many Americans cannot afford to pay the ransom demanded by the lawyer monopoly to buy a shot at justice.
THE PROOF
* 159 million personal and property crimes were committed against American citizens during a recent 13 year period, with a 26% clearance arrest record. When that 26% was turned over to the judicial system, the percentages go down through plea bargains, back room political deals and God only knows what else. A sad commentary for the America's criminal justice system. Direct and indirect cost of crime in America is now costing taxpayers a staggering $675 billion dollars annually. America leads the world in prison population. * America has the highest tort tax in the world that now exceeds $1200.00 for every man, woman and child. We cannot be competitive in the international market place. Who pays that tort tax, none other than the American consumer.
* We are the most litigious society on earth with over 95 million lawsuits filed annually at a cost exceeding $300 billion dollars effecting the gross national product.
* Over 70% of low to middle income Americans can no longer afford the cost of justice in America.
* We have two standards of justice, the "Model T" brand and the "Cadillac brand". Those who have money get the Cadillac brand and those who don't have money go to prison or bankruptcy court.
* Over 30 billion annually is extracted from the medical and insurance fields by lawyers looking to extort a settlement from the deep pockets in those professions.
* We have laws and rules stacked end to end which would fill up the super dome in New Orleans. Yet we have a legal mentality that looks at a given dispute and says "If we can't find any law that has been broken we may have to pass a new one".
* We have a judicial system where politics, fraud, conspiracy, deception, perjury, dishonesty and obstruction of justice is the order of the day by the dominant lawyer culture who operate the system. This translates into a giant mirror for society that if it happens in the judicial system, you can get away with it in society. Is the judicial system teaching immorality on the face? Nobody is responsible, nobody is guilty, nobody is wrong as long as lawyers can profit from the issue.
WHO IS THE KEEPER OF THE LAWS?
There is no debate here! The answer is lawyers. Under the three branch of government concept, the answer spotlights a constitutional nightmare. The federal congress is dominated by lawyers and many of the state legislatures have long been dominated by lawyers. Twenty four of the forty two American presidents have been lawyers-with two in the White house as of this writing. The judicial branch of government is 100% lawyer dominated. So what does this mean? If you don't get anything else from this narrative remember this! It means we now have a ruling class of lawyers in the nation (1) making the laws, (2) judging us in the laws, (3) prosecuting us in the laws, (4) defending us in the laws, (5) interpreting the laws and (6) administering the laws. Not only is this an illegal monopoly of the vital legal services profession but it is profoundly a closed door tyrannical rule of the American people and a constitutional nightmare.
It gets worse! Most of us have learned through our own experience in this life that truth and fact is the basis of all progress and anything less is deception with an effort in futility. Science did not put a man on the moon through distortion of fact and truth. Progress in the medical field has not been made because fact and truth has been disregarded. In any area of our lives, we really never know anything until we know it by its causes based upon fact and truth.
The ruling class of lawyers controlling our nation have little regard for fact and truth. The entire lawyer profession is built around deceit, avoiding and redefining the truth. Their example of fraud, deception and dishonesty in society, in the judicial system, in government has sent a terrible negative ethics message that has had a devastating effect on the character of generations of young people. These deceptive traits and practices are also the planks that support the foundation of the largest criminal culture to be found in any society. Law Schools are anti-ethics with teachings that there is no black or white situation, only a hundred shades of gray.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST-MONOPOLY AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
Lawyers present a terrible conflict of interest on the face. Judges are lawyers with a robe on. When lawyers take the bench and don the robe, they do not leave behind all of their negative personal baggage and lawyer transgressions. The entire system is a lawyer closed membership country club with the masses picking up the tab.
Many lawyers are social parasites-they move to the soft and misery spots in the economy simply for personal financial or political gain at the expense of the parties. Lawyers are not producers-they gravitate to situations which will carve up and tear down the economy rather than build it up. The spoils from their mischief only benefit the lawyers personally and their political cohorts. A few, more noble minded lawyers with ethics notwithstanding.
Lawyer self-regulation permits the judicial system to operate in a shroud of secrecy where lawyers can and do commit all manner of fraud and criminal transgressions and quickly hide those transgressions in a maze of lawyer self-regulation and protective rules. This includes blatant constitutional abuse and violations by lawyer-judges. Under this cloak, one lawyer with a briefcase can steal more than a thousand criminals with guns. Only 2% of all the over 100,000 lawyer complaints filed nationwide annually are formally prosecuted.
Lawyers gravitate to the political positions to dominate not only the judicial branch of government but also the legislative and executive branches of government. They have created a planet of needless laws where legalese has become the national language and technicalities have become the national product. All of this has a counter-productive effect on business and the free enterprise system.
Lawyers should never be permitted to run a government. On more than one occasion we have put the nations business on hold while the government spends millions looking into lawyer transgressions. The charges are generally made by lawyers against a lawyer. Look at the personal baggage of Bill and Hillary Clinton. A multi-million dollar investigation of two lawyers. A special lawyer appointed to do the investigating. Lawyers in congress squabbling over congressional hearings where there was lawyers conducting those hearings with hundreds of staff lawyers behind the scenes shoving paper and pushing subpoenas. Lawyers standing by in courts to hear the evidence. Lawyers have undoubtedly cost this nation billions of dollars just in wasted motion, needless laws and judicial process in government-not to mention losses in the private sector, and cost to judicial victims.
THE NATION HAS BECOME A GIANT LAW FACTORY
Lawyers have created an unconstitutional manufacturing plant that churns out laws by the hundreds daily. Under the constitution only congressional lawmakers are permitted to create law. Lawyer-judges create their own law daily in the judicial system based upon their own opinion and rulings and they call it "case law". Upon these mountains of unconstitutional case law, American lives and property and the constitution hang in the balance.
Lawyers have created a monster legal monopoly of the entire legal services profession in America and then they create laws and rules so American citizens will be forced to use the monopoly. Then they guard the monopoly with more laws and rules which threaten criminal prosecution for those who would help others with legal affairs. Litigants have to pay a ransom to a lawyer to access this monster legal monopoly just to open the court house doors and then they often lose this front fee ransom through lawyer malpractice, conspiracy, fraud and theft. There are thousands maybe millions of documented cases where litigants have lost everything they own because of lawyer malpractice, conspiracy, fraud and theft. Lawyer judges, prosecutors and other judicial bodies and tribunals (lawyers) have winked, blinked and nodded as they covered up these transgressions.
SPECIAL PROSECUTORS-MORE LAWYERS
Prosecutorial (lawyer) abuse is rampant. Political persecution under the guise of judicial prosecution is the order of the day with many lawyers in the state offices of District Attorney and Attorneys General. Many prosecutorial lawyers seek high profile cases and manipulate the media for name recognition as they climb the political ladder moving to a higher political office. A prosecutor victims graveyard stands as a monument to prosecutorial abuse in most states, created and maintained at the taxpayer expense.
BAR ASSOCIATIONS
Bar associations, all lawyers literally operate the control tower of the Judicial system. Lawyer discipline is a joke. Lawyer misconduct, malpractice and lawyer theft is cloaked in a shroud of secrecy. Discipline is almost non-existent even in states where discipline is administered by a committee under the state supreme court. Dracula is in charge of the blood bank!
