An Advocate Organization Crusading For Legal Justice Reform Of The Justice System Nationwide
Who Is United Citizens For Legal Reform? United Citizens for Legal Reform was founded in 1990 by author and former law firm consultant and trial investigator Sammy Sorrell with home office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sorrell is still national director for the organization that operates exclusively on the Internet. During the early years after formation, the organization discovered the nationwide movement for legal justice reform was large but very fragmented. UCLR attempted to pull together a national movement without success. Many of the justice reform groups had their own ideas of what they wanted to do and the effort to to consolidate the national movement was abandoned. UCLR set up their first web site in the early 1990's with over 500,000 people nationwide visiting that site. Several free information reports were offered and the site invited email participation and communication. Thousands responded from around the nation complaining about the justice system in their area or state. It was this response that prompted the organization to develop a complete library of self help law information products with goals as outlined below. What Are The Goals and Purpose Of UCLR? 1. To bring about legal justice reform of the entire American judicial system. 2. To inform Americans about justice in America, how to handle their own legal affairs and even represent themselves in court. 3. To bring about change of lawyer monopoly and domination of the American Judicial System and the legal services profession in America. 4. To inform our nation of the greatest threat for Americans that is "Homegrown Terrorism" the undeclared war against crime in America. What Has UCLR Done To Bring About Legal Justice Reform? (1) Our Founder and Director has produced and hosted two talk radio shows on the subject of Justice in America and legal justice reform. (2) UCLR developed one of the most effective responses to the need for coping with a political and broken judicial system. This original report series titled "Legal Secrets Revealed" includes 50 information reports in layman's language that assisted people representing themselves without a lawyer to understand the working of the judicial system. This series was sold for $5 per report and later was published in e-book format for $29.95 for all 50 reports. That series is still very popular and can be found in the UCLR library. CLICK HERE (3) UCLR developed a most effective "Self Help Law Center" on the Internet offering multiple publications, reports, ebooks, do-it-yourself legal kits and legal forms and other items to Americans who choose to represent themselves in their own legal affairs.
