  It does not take a rocket scientist or any other expert to see what has happened and is happening in our society today.  In many areas of our nation we have become a people lifted up in vain pride with the chief focus on material possessions, sex and other carnal desires that breeds crime and violence..  That road leads to the great slippery slope of immorality.  History records the nations of the world that arose to the pinnacle of power and material wealth and those nations met their total destruction when they tried to create a utopia of peace without God (Rome as an example).  Vain pride & immorality is the forerunner to the fall.  If we continue to follow the self-sufficient secular path denying our God a place in our society we are literally going to hell in a hand-basket!
